Maternity leave allowance

Maternity allowance is the period of compulsory abstention from work granted to female employees during pregnancy and after childbirth. Under certain conditions that do not allow the mother to take this benefit, it accrues to the other parent and is referred to as alternative paternity leave.

The request for unemployment benefits can be submitted directly by the claimant or through selected and recognised CAFs and Patronati (with delegation).

Check Request Status

To check the status of the request it is necessary to make a request to the endpoint GET/IT-indennita-maternita/{id} where the id is the identifier obtained during the request.

As soon as the request status has changed to 'evaso' (=‘processed’) it will be possible to download the document.
